Another great new Sock Dreams style is in!!!
We dubbed these InkLiNed because of the way the black lines run down them, but the white ones are pure white and every bit as cool. We even think they might become the next favorite because we haven’t seen anything quite like them anywhere else, at least, not yet. They are nice and stretchy, just like the O Chevrons (which also come in even more colors now!!!) and can be worn over the knees or cuffed down for knee highs. They are only $8 and are sure to show up in more colors in the coming weeks!
I took pictures of a few more things this weekend and should be getting them added in the next few days, but here is what sits on my table this very moment…

Samples of the new top striped socks that are an awful lot like those skater tube socks that are popping up all over, plus sized fishnet pantyhose, our first sample of longer Super Stripes, lace tabi slippers, Miss Dater knee highs and sock garters and some little grey samples of the A Chevrons, A for ankle high, or we might just call them Shorter Chevrons, and the InkLiNed, they will be in a shorter version soon too, all in good time…

No, not the kind you get from the cruel ancient Chinese practice of foot binding.
Lotus toes is the full name of our little (now 80 lb!!!) blue dobe Lola.
Lola is 10 months old this weekend…
and she loves the new Lotus anklets

which will also give you unbound, comfy, lotus toes.

Birthday number two this weekend
is my faithful old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog Jake.

I’ve had him since he was 12 weeks old

it was those big brown eyes I fell in love with.
From the moment I met him they seemed to look right into my soul. I had no idea he was supposed to be a farm dog, capable of herding cattle & baying hogs right out of the bayou. If I had known I probably would not have brought him home to be a housepet, but now I can’t imagine not having had him with me these past 10 years.

And, finally, birthday number three, Happy Birthday Xilia!!!
…in keeping with the tens trend, Xilia is 10 years younger than I am.
Let’s all eat a piece of cake and raise a toast to these three beauties…

Beautiful Lotus anklets from K. Bell
…I had to get them because not only do I love lotuses and all that they represent, but the weather in most areas has been warming up and there is an increased need for more summer-y sock styles. These are very nice quality and fit well in that standard medium range, the flowers are woven in, not printed on and are really pretty. They are 80% cotton with enough nylon & spandex added to help them keep their shape and stay in place on your feet.
Lotus blooms have been sacred for thousands of years in Egypt, China & India. Representing, among other things, the sun, purity, enlightenment and life itself. Their single white bloom would emerge from the mud in China. The blue lotus would open early in the morning at the first sign of light on the Nile, exposing it’s yellow center like the sun in the middle of the blue sky,only to close up again at night as the sun went down. Such things most surely must have appeared mystical to the peoples at the time who included them in much of their artwork and even in their alphabet. If you are interested in more about lotus symbolism a simple google search will bring you a wealth of information and stories because I have barely covered it’s many meanings and uses here…
But I can cover your feet in the beauty of lotuses.

So your not a size 0 but are still confidant, comfortable in your skin, and love to show off your sexy self…So why is it so hard to find something frilly if your over a size 10?

It drives me crazy looking at the majority of plus size options ( be it socks,undies, or clothes in general) and seeing how bland they are.

NO thank you… I don’t want to wear a brown sack.. I want to look as cute and bubbly as I feel. I worked hard eating all those delectable chocolates to get my shape this delightfully round and womanly and gosh darn it I want to be able to dress fashionably or sexy and not have to cram myself into a small size and look ridiculous to do that….

…..And in steps Sock Dreams decking out my legs from tiny toes to large lush thighs in an array of fun, sporty, and/or sexy socks and stockings…and now garter belts!!!!!!

All the other garter belts I have tried always dug in and gave me the “bulgies” but these new ones Niq just got in are wonderful. The undies are a little teeny and did dig in a bit but the garter itself is fantastic and adjusted wider than I needed ( in all the glory of my 45 inch hips- mind you my waist is only 36 and the garter sat somewhere inbetween).

Wear these for that special someone or just underneath any outfit to make you feel like a secret hottie all day while keeping your snazzy socks or stockings in place. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the array of other items we will be offering in lovely larger sizes.

Cut & Sew Lace Over the Knees with Ties
…Another fancy Jonathan Aston creation.
Fully formed, with a back seam and elastic ties at the tops.
The label says they’ll fit up to 42″ hips which is only odd because these only come up a few inches past the knees but I do believe they will stretch well on larger legs. The price is high but so is the quality and these are a limited edition, when they’re gone we won’t be getting more.
Among our many new items are two new colors of topless fishnets…

As usual, there will be even more added this week, including Lotus blossoms anklets & Miss Dater nylon knee highs and sock garters…

Yes, it’s true!
As Shelleopard pointed out in Friday’s post we are in the latest issue of Bust with not only the ad above but our very own O Chevrons in one of their photos!
We just added 5 new colors of O Chevrons this past week and tonight I have added their pictures as well as several other new colors and styles.
Also featured in the ad above are the very comfy and colorful ToeToe stripey knee highs in two different colors.

just wanted to say thank you for being so nice and helpful.
as usual,everytime I order a pair of socks they bump out the old favorites.
so here are a couple pictures of my new favorite socks…
slouch socks!

I didn’t order these for a while because I’m not really a huge fan of baggy socks but when you posted the photo in the red cross shirt I knew I had to try them.
I got black first and as soon as I put them on I sat down and ordered another pair in army green.
These are the socks you shouldn’t live without.
They are perfect and cozy by themselves and also great over other socks(stripes of course).
My favorite way to wear them is pulled all the way up and cuffed and they don’t slide down at all that way. They also seem more durable than alot of other socks.
I really cant believe I waited so long to order.
I’m hoping there will be many more colors in the future!
