They're purple. I'm not sure if the design is quite a chevron or not since I haven't worn them yet. But I was mostly there for some cute midcalf argyle front socks and a pair with dots but I had to get a certain ammount for them to be nice and cheap so I got those as well. They appear a bit worn before putting them on unlike the crisp clean look the better version is unworn, but as you can see they look fine on.
