Favorite Colors (part deux)
This color combo seems so intense it almost looks electric. I have worn them with my purple shoes and they seem to get even brighter (especially in the sunlight). These double greens Green Knees and the pink and red Mstripes are holding my heart for favorites this month. The colors are just so rich and vibrant, they have turned a lot of heads on these greenwich village streets, and that is really saying something cause everything goes here.
When the Green knees came out I immediately ordered the lime/seafoam color. When they arrived I was tickled about the colors, but when I put them on I felt as though my ample and long legs had betrayed me. The feet of the Green Knees are too small for my size 11’s and the length of the sock barely reached past knee high. I am normally not a knee high wearer… though I must say if anything can change my mind about that, it will be these Green knees.
I can momentarily pull them up really really taught to OTK length, but once I bend or move they are back under my knee. Though they do look pretty cute there under the knee huh?
I love these colors so much, I am sure I will eventually wear these as knee highs. But for now, I wear them mostly scrunched down around my ankles (this looks adorable with a tea length black dress I have… everything is so subtle till you look at my electric socks!).

I would love some longer feet/legs pink, green and BLUE knees too……maybe please????……

i have been going thru all the stripes and am thinking i might be trying some of those you do already have…..here is what is in my head and i won’t be able to get rid of it until i find something similar so i am looking thru all your wonderul colors and pics and readings tons of past reviews to make up my mind- my inspiration is the 2005 spring christian dior collection had the cutest striped socks and they had a pair of thigh high sky blue & lemon yellow socks that i just LOVE!!! of course, i wont look like them sexy models but at least my toes & legs will be super!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY XILIA!!!! (and my basement is GROSS…ugh….that’s my first home project-well after a nice wooden fence…)

how do you SLEEP in that bright room?!? ;D excellent post. i have a little trouble keeping the “knees” over mine, as well.

THANKS!!! The shoes are ‘newport-news.com’ (on sale for $19.99 ) The purple is the living room… the pink is the bedroom. It’s strange but I find the rich bright colors in my flat comforting (though I have been asked that same ‘how can you sleep in here’ question many times). I am very attracted to intense colors in my home and on my legs :o) The double greens and the pink/red color combos are definately ’swoon’ worthy in my opinion. And even though the “knees” line of socks are just knee high on me (I had to pull them really tight to take that OTK pic).. The colors are so fantastic that it is easy to find a way to wear them as they are. Though secretly I wish for a “Green/Pink Knees LONG” line with longer feet and legs to fit us bigger/longer sock lovers the way the regular Green/Pink Knees fit the medium sizes. :O)
