Crazy for longer socks
People get so excited about socks sometimes when they write that they completely forget we are not right there inside their heads with them and we get utterly vague questions like this:

i wanted the crazylong socks but dont think that they would have fit my thighs and the super ms are a perfect fit except i would like them to be longer.
i also bought the super stripes and i adore them but again wish they were longer.

if the super ms are already 50 then id say i would like about 70 inches or so.
i love stripes but solids would be great too.
when i ordered the superstripes i was so excited to get them i couldnt sleep until i tried them on. i adore them so much. currently my favorite socks (pic attatched). replacing my super ms as my favorite socks.
but id be in love forever with 70 inch socks.

I know a bunch of you miss the really long socks and we could definitely have something from the DreaM lines made a whole lot longer…

well, i have been wanting to try the super stripes but way way back i tried the super ms (i think they were) but they were sooooooooo baggy at the ankles…. i much want to try the navy/limes but am hesitant due to the fit of the super ms……plz anyone let me know if they sag at the ankles and also are they thinner then the super ms…..from the cute pic shown here they are looking sweet and not baggy soooooooooo i am on edge of my seat very happy and hopeful……………..thank you

i think the ankles are less baggy than the super ms though they are a little loose on my feet (size9) but im thinking that would be easily solved by opting for the smaller footed super stripes.

Hmmm…longer super Ms and M stripes…. they could be cool but my legs are so short it wouldn’t really make a difference for me… My little 28″ inseam legs get completely covered by the 33″ in Super marleds already. But I can see people with longer legs wanting longer sockies with extra scrunch room. I think my Super Ms will probably be scrunchtastic enough for me though.

I have 30″ inseam & would LOVE crazy long 80-100″ socks, depending on their price. That mega-scrunchy look is cool. But Im NOT a stripes fanatic. I only want small footed {6.5} SOLID black. Thats all I want… long black socks & pics of your pets ;)))))

I would also *love* some longer super stripes. Black and anything would be great. How about black and army green? Black and light blue? Black and navy? I bet you are sensing a trend….. Hey…. how about super marled black and red?

thanks LaDawn for all the help about the bagginess issue….I went directly to the smaller footed super stripes- but now i have another question: the super stripes appear from the pics to have the stripes going down onto the foot but on the pics on the smaller foot version the stripes appear to stop…..???…..I would prefer the stripes all the way down….also, looking at the beautiful color navy/lime on the larger super stripes and then looking at the navy/limes on the smaller foot version- the smaller foot pic appears almost like black and lime….????……..once again thank you all for your help and advice and reviews….

I agree… would love to see a variation with longer super stripes… as for now they are a perfectly generous OTK for me being both wide and long. I would love to have a pair that was a ‘true’ thigh high on me! Any chance that we could ever get some solids made just like the extra long super stripes you are talking about? I ADORE my SuperM’s… I love the baggy feel and they way they fit, but there are times that I would like a more clingy extra long sock (like the superstripes but solid) fit for certain outfits. Oh I just love this discussion!!! and all the wonderful comments on this post.

ack now I don’t know if I should get the smaller footed or regular super stripes…. , my feet are a size 9, I don’t want them to be too loose, but I like the stripey feets better, lol did I just type feets? **overtired**

I’m here to put in a mention of the shorter long socks. I really like your just plan OTK lengths. They are what best suit my legs, my price range, and my style. I’m all for longer socks for taller people, but OTKs work great for my needs. What I’m hoping for is more summer friendly sock options: sheers, thigh highs, fishnets(and neat-o variants), lightweight knits, and fun summer colours. I trust your sock tastes though!

I agree that more otks would be cool too…like all of the M stripes colors in Otks, and the solid m40 colors in otks..or maybe just more selections in the slouch socks… Im pro more colors in various lengths whether long or short =D!!

This is one of the guys who usually stays quiet. This is amazing. Maybe I don’t get out enough but if I ever saw a woman wearing this I think my heart would stop. It is all so dreamy and sexy and creative!

I bought the 89″ crazy longsocks and love them, but they do get a bit snug at the top of my legs. I would definitely like to see some extra long super Ms.

Our suppliers are trying to make them as long as possible today, it is a huge challenge and I had to offer to pay alot for them, we should know later today if it will work…
