when we love our socks too much…a tale of O Chevrons in Pink
So here it is…..
My sordid tale of over indulging my most favoritist socks
(gasp….yes even above and beyond the much adored sushi socks).
I got a pair of the o chevrons when we first got in samples
and have been wearing them and washing them..
wearing them and washing them over and over again.
And now here I find myself trying to snap some pictures and I see all the wearing have turned my socks into a lovely pile of unphotogenic stains that even repeated washings in hot water won’t remove….
the dirt in the heel from where I walked in socked feet
along the cool ground after a long hike…
The splodges of chili and beer stains from a nights dining and rounds on the town,
the small muddy splatters from riding my bike on rainy days……
These socks have an appeal I can’t deny
and I still find myself reaching for them over and over..
digging through the laundry and ignoring the piles of other socks begging me to wear them. How long can this love affair last?!!! Ages it would seem, as the basic structure of the sock is still 100% intact even after all this wear.
So apologies for the stained pics, but know that each blotch and smudge is a memory of mine filled with love that I share with you all.

i’ve had a pair of anarchics for a couple of weeks now, actually…i think they’re super comfy, but we’ll have to see on how they hold up (they’re also mens’, though, and that makes a diff).

nah, they’re another style…the stars ones that i was wearing in the checkered flags review. unfortunately, none of those kitty shoes are big enough for my big-cat-feet! :)

I just realized that I NEED to have those kitten shoes. I’m looking for the best price now so I can order them online tomorrow. I just can’t see them so many times and think they’re cute without getting them.

tee hee, I too love the beaded shoes, esp the toes, that is really neat! and the O Chevrons look great too! I love all the new colors and really must get more pictures of them shot shortly. Today I’m quite under the weather and have an ad to finish for Bitch Magazine, tonight or else!

They actually belong to my wonderful new friend I made this weekend.. We have the same shoe size!!!!!! :) She bought these off a street vender in NewYork. There were no tags or lables that I could see and I have been trying to hunt down a pair of my own online with little luck. If you find any let me know!!!!!

I have found that oxyclean does wonders on “organic” stains like some of those you listed. Have you tried anything like that yet on these cuties?

Happy an OChevron post came back up because I adore mine soooooooo much you would not believe…..I adore OTK stockings and thin socks (I don’t wear the baggy style) so when I got my new black Chevron stocks i was in love…..now I have been wishing on some deep wine/burgandy color chevrons….maybe??????….once again, the chevrons are the greatest….fit nicely on leg and able to wear with my heeled maryjanes and don’t bag and do not fall below my knee and fit my size 10 foot perfectly….lovely these are……THANKS XO
