In the great O Marled
Yesterday I was lucky enough to be out in the wilds of the woods. Sunbeams danced, warm breezes breezed and my feet and legs were super happy campers cocooned in the soft hold of the O Marleds (We have them in little foot size!) I opted to get the fawn color, more from a photographic standpoint (the ribbing is a tad more noticeable when worn), but by the end of the trek up into the mountains was quite glad I did. Of all the colors, Fawn seems to be just a tad thinner and a little more breathable in comparison to the thickness of the other colors. This was nice as the day warmed upped quite a bit. Don’t think these socks lack in cuddly coziness just because they may be a little thinner- they are still plush and lush. Till now I have been wearing them to warm my toes in the bed at night and have been impressed with how well they stayed in place throughout the entire night. They also stayed up just above my knee (when cuffed) for the entire 4 hours of the hike over steep climbs, stream hopping, and my constant contorting to “get that perfect snap” of some fungus or moss. A wonderfully versatile sock, I can easily recommend these to both the lounger and the trekker as a fantastic addition to your socky collection.
