My absolute Favorites, so far…

Aren't they lovely?
These are a personal indulgence and I think they are just the best!!!
O Marled, Over the knees, Oh-sO-cOmfy!!!
I’ve worn my new black pair for the past couple of days for alot of walking, they stayed up really well under jeans and kept my feet surprisingly warm on the cold concrete floor downstairs. I love how comfy this thick marled cotton yarn is, but I wanted a shorter version that I could still pull over my knees. I thought they should be ribbed all the way down with the very top part not ribbed so they would make a nice loose attractive cuff. The small sized foot fits my 8.5s so well I don’t like the larger footed version on me at all anymore, and when Xilia tried them on they fit her size 6 too! Knowing that we’re not all built the same I decided to get the larger version made a few inches longer at the tops in hopes that they would make it over knees that are higher off the ground than mine. Hopefully we’ve succeeded, if not, they will still make great knee highs for you taller/longer legged folks.
I noticed that the fawn appear to be a bit lighter of a knit, but only when I pulled them over my knees…
Soooo comfy!
Scrunched down they appear to be as thick as the rest, another thing about the fawn is that the ribbing shows up better on it, it nearly disappears on the darker shades but still has the same effect, it keeps the socks snuggley around your legs instead of loose like many of the other cotton stockings. The spandex in these helps with that too, it also gives them great upward stretch, I found they are as long on as they are off (completely unlike the longsocks which don’t go up anywhere near as long as they look like they would). Not only are these stocked and available, but we also restocked most of the toesocks (there is still another box due, so they aren’t all in yet). The black fencenet thigh highs are back as are the Pippy longstockings (7 dozen oughtta last us ;) and the pink & black skull socks are finally back too!
