By request…

Over the knee tube socks.
What I like least about them:
loose feet that slip down when I’m not wearing shoes.
What I like the most about them:
Loose feet that let my feet breathe & my toes wiggle.

Before being washed they are almost thigh high on my 30 inch legs.
After being washed a couple of times in warm water my pair (above) shrunk a few inches and stay nicely above my knees, either cuffed or scrunched a bit.
Long legs & large feet are going to love these and I think the tops should comfortably fit up to about 19/20 inches around.
I wasn’t sure how much demand there would be for these so I only brought in 5 colors and a dozen of each. I’d really like feedback on these, should we keep them? make them longer/shorter? more colors? We cannot get them wider or with smaller feet, but length & colors can be changed…

Awh, the elastic reminds me of a pair of purple fishnets I had long ago… *nostalgia*

I am totally adoring these… how do you think they’d be for someone both wider and taller? I’d love to be able to wear them more down towards the ankle then you have them on… do they give well on lenth wise stretch?

I hope the move goes very smoothly! It must be so exciting to expand, relocate, etc. :) I’ll be looking forward to seeing what this expansion of Sock Dreams brings for all of us consumers! It must be wonderful to be able to have some extra space now that you all are moving some of the inventory.

Yes inded! all kinds of possibilities, from a simple hidden bootie sock to full tights under the fishnets and all kinds of styles in between. I might’ve mentioned that in the post yesterday, had my head not been full of thoughts of moving (the BIG move is next weekend, but there is plenty to do now:)

shelle… they are so dreamy!! on me the sweater socks are just barely otk (but i keept stretching them up and they do work just fine). since your calves are smaller than mine, they may pull up a bit further. you should try them, i think you would LOVE them. I do ;o)

I really like the OTK tubes – but I would like them even more if they were a bit longer – like true thigh hi.

I bought a pair of Dansko shoes (Niq, those are the red shoes from my pictures), and even though I’m wearing them in cold weather my feet are still warm! I think it’s because the toe is so wide that I get lots of room for air circulation (and my feet stay cooler when it’s hot). Local independant shoe stores sell them, and you can get them online at Zappos. Pricey, but worth it!

i wondered if the sweater socks were like thermals, but i’ve never tried them. i don’t remember why not right now; maybe i should check them out! :)

those look yummy; i wonder how far up they’d come on my legs? if not too high, the width should be fine! that red is scrumptious!

Yes, that is the same dark red as the M40s and Super Ms, it is also the Dark red stripes. And yeah, small narrow feet will hate these, unless you like your socks hanging off your toes, which could be someone’s fetish. Since they are thick around the feet I don’t have any trouble with them in shoes, just when shuffleing around the house & work without shoes…

mmmm. so maybe what I need is bigger shoes not smaller feet on my socks? Sure ~that’s~ a good excuse to go shoe shopping! ;) ok by me.

OOOOOO…. they look so comfy, like great casual sockies. I think my toes will be very happy in a pair of those :O)
