Xilia’s pick of the week
This first week its all about theses super snazzy yellow button sock garters. I don’t think I have ever seen a pair of these go out yet and I just can’t fathom as to why not. They are the prettiest pale goldeny yellow that has a mother of pearl effect with a smooth and shiny finish. Set against the dark black of the garter they pop out and look super fantastic! Not only are they adorable, but they are wonderful at keeping socks right up where they are supposed to be. Even while hiking! For me this is really important, as now that its getting chill and winter-like I am wearing jeans over the longer socks and can’t just pull them up ( without yanking down my trousers and mooning everyone) if the sock slips. I usually match these particular garters with my yellow M-40’s (pictured), but think they would look ever so adorable with the yellow and black M-Stripes or be a wonderful little splash of color on an all black Super M. My favorite way to wear the garters ( with buttons.. I am curious though to see how the studded garters fit and feel around my neck) would have to be as a choker (also pictured). I will always be ever so fashionable and have a neck adornment to match my socks!!! :)- till we next

i doubt the spikeys would fit on the neck, but i have made chokers, armbands and headbands of the elastic and spikes and snaps, so i can vouch for their comfiness! :)

not only have you made me want some sock garters, and to pull out my longsocks… but now i have a burning desire to go play with my paint shop and some black and whites. simply lovely Xilia… lovely.

yay for donations and good photos and more sock girlies (and guy?)! i will post soon, really i will…been working overtime pretty much every week, so it kinda throws my schedule off!

Great sockin review! You’ve provided us insight into the good qualities of this product not only from an aesthetical angle but also information as to its functionality and stylability. The images as well are fabulously created !!

i love flat eric! :) our flat eric is sitting on our fireplace mantel here. i have to try the garters as a choker, great idea!

i am so glad that niq found you xilia… you seem a perfect socky fit (read as.. girl, i am so darn jealous that you get to be there, but if anyone other than me, glad it is you, cause you seem perfect there). and yes… your posting is something to aspire to. it’s wonderful. waves from nyc :O)
