Happy Solstice!!!

Winter is officially upon us here in the northern hemisphere
and I’ve got no shortage of warmer socks planned for you and your toes!
Pictured above are my current fav’s…
the marled Super Ms I mentioned in my last post.
Our first batch to sell is being made this week and will arrive late next week or early the week after. They come in four colors and are so thick and comfy, I just know you’re going to love them!
I sewed a button on the out side of each of mine, I like it, but it serves no purpose that I can think of and I don’t plan on doing it to more, not yet anyway.
I’ve also asked them to make me a test sample of these, more of an otk, sort of a reverse M40 with the loose part being on top and the ribbing going down the legs. If those work we’ll get them made for you too. We’re also getting a simple over the knee tube style made in the next round for those who’ve requested it. A couple of new colors are also going to be available, including a green I liked so much I’m starting the new otk stripes out all in variations of it. The O Pastels came back today, they are 6 inches longer this time around so if you wanted them longer now is your chance, when these are gone they’ll go back to being over the knees. Also in, wool M40s for smaller feet!!!
More warmth…
a new batch of the Orkney Angora styles is here, the leg warmers are now available in chocolate and fawn and we got some new ankle & knee highs, I just need to get their pictures taken, shouldn’t take me long now that we’re slowing down again. But we did have an unexpected rush the past two days so I’m not sure we’re out of the woods yet (not that I’m complaining mind you!~;)
What else? oh, I know…
we got the diamond knit otks back in black & ivory back
and the Pippy Longstockings really are due back anyday, so for those who I know won’t be reading this anyway, please stop writing and asking me! BTW, did you know you can find them on Ebay? yup, seomone’s been selling them there for a whole lot more than we charge, plus they are charging shipping on top of that! yes, good deals can be found on Ebay, but that surely isn’t one of them, buyer beware!

hmmmm…. a contraption made of both a sock garter (like the men’s old fashioned kind) and instead of a clip (the kind that lady’s regular garter belts use), you could hang a little leather button hole piece (like those used in good pant suspenders). oh that would be so fun!

Whart I really wanna do is some kind of short suspemnder, with the clips on both ends so that you could clip them to the bottom of shorts/skrts/panties and clip the other end to the socks/stockings without damaging either…

hmmmm…. i have little clippy things that are used to hold my sheets over my bulky featherbed. they have the garter type clips on either end with elastic imbetween.

I don’t like those typical plastic stocking-holders, as they don’t usually do well with socks, which tend to be thicker. In fact, I changed out a set of garters on a pair of boyshorts. I seamripped ‘em, replaced the flimsy plastic with metal suspender clips, and sewed ‘em back up. they work great!!!!

also… just curious…. don’t the sock garters have button holes throughout them? (i have not yet tried them so i do not know for sure). but could you use those nifty little buttons that you sewed on the socks, and button them into a sock garter?? or have plain buttonless sock garters just for that purpose? i really like the button on there… it looks like it “belongs”. :O)

yay, wool m40’s for my tiny feet. does this mean that i might be seeing cotton m40’s for small feet in the new year?
