16 days til the Winter Solstice…
Thanks to Emily for sending us these cozy pix!!!

If you are in the northern hemisphere the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting even colder. Layering your legs in warmth helps keep the chill out and allows you to enjoy skirts & shorts even as the wind blows and the temperatures drop. My favorite spot is by the heater, even then I like some nice warm socks on for venturing to the fridge or down to the basement.
Here is the first letter I got from her about these wool socks…
Hi Niqkita,
Wow, I love the new website, Very professional indeed. I just had to write and tell you what a great gift my boyfriend gave me the other day. Well it was supposed to be a christmas present but he gave them to me earlier because once he recieved them he thought I wouldn’t like them. He knew I wanted long wool socks and I told him about fetishize-me.com, I haven’t been by in a while. Anyways, he showed me 2 pair of super long off white wool socks and he was like these aren’t what I thought they would be. I have to admit they did look a little saggy, but I had pair of wool tights once that kind of looked the same way before I washed them. So I put them in the washer and dryer and presto I have two new pair of awsome above the knee thick wool socks, actually they almost come up to my hip. I slept in them last night and they were perfect although they were below my knees when I woke up but that was fine. Tomorrow I’ll try them under pants or a skirt and see how they do walking, I bet they’ll stay up better over tights, we’ll see. Speaking of which, if they are going to make them so long, why not just make them tights, I bet those would be super warm. Okay, I think I’ve said enough.
Thanks again,
Emily

Indeed they do stay up better over tights! and if you are at all prone to itching from wool it also alleviates that. I hope that everyone else who gets them remembers to wash them before deciding if you like them, I washed mine a few times first and even put in some fabric softener, also, I’ve said it before and their labels say it too, wash them inside out to keep them looking their best! Happy Monday!!!

I had to shrink those pix to fit them in here without taking too long to load, but there is a heater behind her to the left in that bottom shot, it’s gorgeous! I’m always cold so my love for heaters is life long and I’ve checked out alot of heaters, few are as pretty as that one!
