Topless

raw edged fishnet stockings
You asked for them and we got them!
well, some of you asked…
I don’t know why I waited so long either…
These are such a sexy classic!
the only thing that will keep them up are garters or suspenders.
Only $5 a pair in black, white, red & purple
They are labeled to fit up top 160lbs, but I think that in true fishnet fashion these have alot of stretch in them and no elastic to cut or bind so they should fit all of us, they just might be a little shorter on some…

What I’m wearing right now…

layering up for comfort & warmth
I took this with my new lights~ I love them!!!
Unfortunately I didn’t get to play with them as much as I wanted this weekend…
we decided to take Saturday off so I could finish resting up from this rotten cold that went around our area which meant that today I printed and pulled ALOT of orders. WooHoo for lots of orders!!! Boo for not having time to take pictures!
We’re going to keep doing everything ourselves with our one helper and a little accounting assistance from a dear friend of mine until further notice so we might be run ragged from time to time from here on out (til after the holidaze that is).
Next year I see big things ahead, exciting things, so many things I sometimes cannot sleep, but we are going to do everything we can to keep the personal feel we enjoy and know many of you really appreciate, but if we make a mistake here or there or get behind in writing back to you please be patient, it takes alot of socks to warm the toes of the world!

Now, back to the comfy layers I have upon my feet…
Cream colored Taller Tabis on my tootsies with white aerobic socks keeping the warmth in and the dirt out. It’s pretty comfy and I like the way it feels to wear these or toe socks with another pair over them for extra warmth, they still keep your toes free & improve your balance.
OH… I added a new slouch sock tonight:
white slouch socks
They’re closely related to the M40s, just a whole lot shorter.
…I want to get these in all the same colors, but like I’ve been saying, I have to watch my space for the coming months as the holidays require me to stock up on everything leaving me little room for new things (and you know I’ve still got alot of those to show you, I’m catching up I promise!!!). Okay, off to bed, it’s going to be a very busy week!

squiggly wiggly bootsocks

my apologies to those of you (including the sock goddess herself) who absolutely ADORE bootsocks, but I’m not a huge fan. I like my socks a little more snug and elastic-y, and should probably try the aerobic socks. :) That having been said, I’m gonna buy more of these bad boys for winter! I love bootsocks for lounging around the house and even sleeping.

They’re warm, sturdy socks that can take a good dirtying-up and will stay above your ankles all day long with no adjusting (but you’ll have to pull ‘em back on a little after sleeping if you kick around like I do). The foot part fits my 12s just fine, and for any of you larger-ankled ladies, these are the sock for you! It took one winter to convert me (last year), but now I like bootsocks, too. Just not as much as stripes. ;D

THE BLACK M40 Reviewed by E.G. for larger legs

M40s reviewed by EG
FOOT SIZE- Fits my size 11s just great!
CALF WIDTH Just barely wide enough to be comfy on my calves, I would not recommend for larger calves than 16″. If you do have larger calves I would recommend the Super Ms… you will be thrilled with them! I am thrilled with both!!
THIGH WIDTH- These can be comfortably pulled (if cuff is undone) to mid thigh, however the main knit of the sock just reaches above my knee
(which is just wonderful to cuff just above)
STAY UP POWER- These stayed up on me surprisingly well. As with all over the knee socks I have ever worn though (I think it has to do with the shape of my legs, they will probably stay up much better on you), they did eventually slip just to the bottom of my knee (but still looked amazing there too)
MATERIAL- Cotton with elastic in the ribbing, except for the red & purple which are acrylic. A very comfy knit … nice and thick, excellent warmth for fall and winter.
SPECIAL FEATURES- The top portion of the sock is done in a different knit than the body of it. When folded over in just the right way it makes a wonderful thick cuff (looks soooo cute, and for some reason tends to make the legs look thinner when it is cuffed … Love that). You can wear that portion uncuffed also … this will turn the socks from over the knee socks to thigh highs. Personally, I do not like the way the change in knit shows just over the knee, so I tend to cuff mine. However, I have seen the pics of our Niqkita wearing them pulled that way and I think it looks cute on her. It is an individual thing and you will have fun experimenting with yours.
COLOR- a lovely jet black!!!! Yay!!!!
There is white stitching across the toes… I think this looks really cute :O)
APPEARANCE- These look great on us larger legged… I find the vertical lines of knit tend to lengthen and slim the leg (they also really show off the good curves!), and as I mentioned before … the thick cuff really helps with the illusion of a slimmer leg.
As long as the leg is no larger in width than mine (26?) I am confident that you will love them too!
CARE- For us larger legged, I recommend (as I usually do) cold woolite washings and hang drying. With calves and thighs anywhere near my size, these are just too close in fit to risk any shrinkage. If you feel your M40s are just a bit too snug I would recommend trying a wet stretch on them to get a bit more wiggle room (as your socks are hang drying, pull and stretch them several times where room is needed during the drying process). You should also know that socks like these will tend to stretch out a bit during wear. It seems that this happens least in the back color
… the rose color M40s seem to stretch out more.
SUGGESTIONS- I adore these layered. A pair of fishnets under them, a pair of slouch socks over them bunched up at the ankles. I love wearing my nylon stripes under them too! These are truly wonderful with knee high boots, just enough of the sock and the cuff show over the boots to emphasize the length of the boots and make your legs look longer and leaner. ohh I just love them with boots..
I think I just love them period. :O)
In conclusion, these are some of the best socks I have ever gotten my toes in.
I have three new favorite pairs
… these M40s, the Super Ms, and a yet to come style we tested…

Thanks E.G.!!! I’m sorry you are still having camera/PC problems…
I might be willing to barter for one of your fabulous cheesecakes ~:)
…and now that the cat is out of the bag, the 3rd style is going to be a longer version of the M40s but we honestly don’t have room to bring them in right now as we prepare for the holidays and work eagerly to get everything we already have prepped, photographed and/or added to the site. My new lights came today so I plan to work with them over the weekend…

brr!

While many of you can’t get enough of the M stockings, I remain as ever fond of longsocks. Thicker and more, um, sock-y than M stockings, these keep me toasty warm at work year round and outside in the winter, too. This morning got pretty chilly here in the deep south, so I pulled out the 47 inch crazylongsocks in bordeaux.

These have slightly more stretch than some of the other crazylongsocks, difference in materials, I guess. They’ll accomodate 22″ thighs and very large feet, even being a bit baggy on my size 12s, which I attribute to their lack of ribbing. I love the ribbing, but some don’t, and these are only available without. The only disadvantage to not having ribbing is that they may scrunch into your shoes a bit, and the advantage is not having a weird looking pattern on your feet if they’re showing.

These longsocks covered my entire legs, but didn’t stay there all day without the help of sock garters. They look great scrunched (sorry, no pic), and feel just fine piled up on your knees. I forgot I was wearing them for most of the day! Longsocks are the perfect unisex sock and are soooo great for winter! Rave review!!! :D

well, the socks aren’t striped, but…

And again!!!

Tomorrow it won’t be stripes, I promise. But for now:

A strange combo, I know, but the baby blue sheer striped thigh highs and my own leopard paper print tights perfectly matched my wild new skirt, so I had to try it out.

The sheer stripes live up to their name, as even the more opaque parts stay slightly sheer. These stretched all the way up my legs and so would be excellent as thigh highs on those of you taller than 6 foot. I thought they were super comfy and give them five stars!!!

stripes? :)">Have I ever mentioned how much I love stripes? :)

Well, the Wide Striped Tights are my favorite tights (so far), and some of my favorite stripes, too!

These were supercomfy on my lower waist, stretched wonderfully and don’t fall or get pulled downward easily like other tights may. Plus, the colors are nice and bright and as opaque as you would expect from Music Legs’ quality tights! I think these are THE comfy tights to have on practically year-round, esp. for men or tall women. Hope everyone’s Halloween rocked their socks!
