Just a quick note to assure anyone who may be checking in that we’re still here. Just very busy this week…
I’ll be adding some pictures in the next few days…
Happy feet & warmest toes,

I said I wouldn’t add any new items, but I lied…
layering and looking forward to fall
Since the moment I first saw black fishnets with red backseams I wanted them. But none of our current suppliers had any so when I saw that Leg Avenue was adding them I was ecstatic. It took me a few times ordering them to actually receive them. They finally arrived last week and today I wore a pair all day with the E.G. Smith no foot boot sock layered over them, a great combination (they are perhaps the most perfect leg warmer, but I’m not going to announce it too loudly til we’re better stocked). It’s a good thing I tested these pantyhose because I was under the impression that they had a cotton crotch (because they appear to in the supplier’s image), no cotton crotch but the netting around the toes is a fine enough gauge to keep toes in & comfy and since these are lycra fishnet they stretch to flatter & accentuate curves…
curve flattering fit
I also found that the back seams stayed in place nicely all day.

Friday outage update
It’s back up!!!
I hope we didn’t lose any customers during that time and hopefully anyone who attempted to place orders will be back to try again…
Sorry for any inconvenience!

Socks with sandals???

Well, it’s at least a good way to illustrate the style of tabi socks. :)

These lace-up flip flops really looked neat contrasting against the black tabi socks. I bet they’d look even better over some knee-high ones! :) As most of you know, I wear a ladies’ size 12 shoe, and the large tabi socks fit me perfectly! For those of you who don’t like toe socks, but do like breezy feet, try these!!! They’re thin like trouser socks and that big-toe part actually fits on your big toe! What an idea! ;)

styles your mother wouldn't be caught dead in

a love letter
Dearest Person of Sock

oh god, i love your site more than i love Lucky Charms.
I have loved socks, weird socks, since i was in the second grade, when i found out there were more than one type of sock. One christmas, all i asked for was socks. I got all sorts of sock and legwear. When i asked my mom how she knew what i would like almost to a perfect T she said, “I picked anything I wouldn’t be caught dead in.” And this brings me to why i love your site. It is EVERYTHING i have ever wanted… almost. It is all the thigh-high, ankle, legwarmer, over the knee, patterned socks i have liked and never got. I saved your site forever in my bookmarks and for this christmas i am hoping to get more than a few of your items
thank you!

Love hugs and legos

I love letters like that, they make my day!
…This one was a perfect opportunity to use another one of my cemetery shots from a couple of years ago. Now that I think about it we should really do that again, when we’re caught up with the many things we’re doing now to make the site lovelier & better than ever…
