Leg Warmers

Well, it’s not fall just yet, but you should get prepared with some Neeley-Ham Dancer Leg Warmers.

Now, I’ve never been a fan of leg warmers, the very phrase conjuring up images of ’80s TV movies and aerobics, but the pics Niqkita did of these made them look so yummy that I just had to try them. I wasn’t disappointed. These aren’t your typical leg warmers; they’re classier! ;) They work great at keeping your legs nice and toasty, but not sweaty, and they look great over heels such as these:

This summer I’ve kept them tucked into my bag for work, since it’s so hot outside that I can’t wear long socks, but my workspace can get quite chilly. Whenever I’ve added all the jackets that I can, I stick these on over my shorter socks, and I stay nice and cozy! I also recommend these for taller ladies and gents! I do not recommend these for larger sizes, as they’re pretty snug and may be uncomfortable for those of you with ample calves. Oh, and have you noticed the thinning aspect? These have a little scrunchability around the ankle for movement, and make your ankles look so lithe! :) So, if you always hated leg warmers, but think ballerinas look pretty cute in ‘em, try these! I did, and I love ‘em!

Comfort & stripes
sheer striped leggings and mix up bootsocks

Has it been a crazy or strange week for you?
I’ve talked to far too many people this week who’ve had strange occurences, injury, illness or malaise. When life gets like that I put on my comfiest socks and think happy thoughts. So far so good…
I’m wearing my Ozone sheer striped leggings, they are made of comfy stretchy cotton so even though I’m feeling kind of bloated my tummy is totally comfy and I get a special happy feeling from those neat transparent stripes around my calves.
Of course bootsocks always make me happy, especially this pair because the black & white mix ups are a tad smaller than the rest of the bootsocks fitting nice and snuggly on my size 8.5 feet.
It’s supposed to cool off right? I hope so because I have some incredibly pretty new M Stripes & M40s to try on and show off.
My goal is to add the rest of the current new stuff this week so I can spend the next few weeks focusing on getting my bits together for the new site. So after this week no new stuff, next month NEW SITE!!! yeah, I’ve gotta get my socks together and get on it!

Remember these?
super loose 30 inch socks, cosplay style

the supplier owed us a half dozen from an order nearly a year ago…
They just showed up but I took their page down awhile back & don’t want to put it back. So, if you are one of those several people who has written me about them this year now is your chance. Six pairs, only $15 a pair because I wanna get rid of them quick.

A year ago yesterday…
lovely layers

the white fishnets with pink lace are gone, but we still have the anklets (I think they are some of our sexiest anklets). We do still have some styles that are like those fishnets, one is an opaque white thigh high with the same lace (we have only one pair left and I’d be ever-so-happy to sell them), there are some similar fishnets that come in plus sizes. The white ones didn’t stay up on me and I had to use garters, I think the others are probably the same but have never actually tried them. I know, bad me! but I cannot try everything, can I? maybe, maybe I should be trying harder…

New toe socks…

Made by Feelmax, like the over the knee toesocks and all the fun stripes in two sizes. These do come in two sizes, but only one of the three current colors~ white with light blue (or aqua as I like to call it) comes in medium or large. The 3 tone pink (or fushcia as they like to call it) comes in medium only as does the 3 tone green (technically they are green, but they look turquoise to me, gripe gripe, gripe!) …anyway, unlike the longer styles these have a formed heel so they fit really well and stay put. They are short enough that they are nearly hidden inside your shoes…

One of these days I want to adopt a rating system…
if it was in effect now I’d give these 9 toes out of ten,
they’d get all ten toes if I liked the colors more ~:)

After two full days of testing…

the fishnets survived & so did I
the lycra gives them great stretchiness that keeps it’s shape and stays up all day. They didn’t creep down on me once and we must’ve walked miles today. I was wearing pointy toed flats so my little toes started to feel the fishnet after awhile even though I added socks. The mesh is fine at the toes so you don’t have to worry about your toes sneaking out. My guess is that the crotch will go out first because all the netting joins there like a spiders web. I think they have alot of stretch in them and am looking forward to hearing how they do for you bigger girls (or guys of course)…

those are the EG Smith Floral lace anklets and we only have one pair left which is sad because I think they are sooo pretty!

Hurray!
Our wonderful Olivia has [after great labor] fixed it!

We have so much going on right now…
an exciting new site design that I’ve only gotten a peak at
and boxes of new stuff arriving…
some that won’t be revealed til the new site is up
some that I’m wearing now
and some that I wore over the weekend.

in the next few hours I’ll get pix of these new pink & black fishnets…
