Shelleopard’s sock drawer
Well, guys, I’ve been busy moving into a new apartment, so I haven’t been posting lately & Figuring out where to put this:
has been about the most that I’ve been thinking of socks. I used to have just one sock drawer. Then I found Sock Dreams and had to buy a whole sock dresser!!! :)
Anyhow, I wore these a few days ago and thought that I’d share.
They’re similar to the ones Niqkita was wearing in the post below, and were discontinued ( I managed to snag the last pair! ) as well. Since then, Sock Dreams has managed to set up a lovely relationship with the people who make M stockings, and so we can now offer nice light cotton socks like these, if not in this exact pattern. Maybe someday we can get nifty socksies like these again…who knows? Not me! But for now, I love my old socks and the new M stockings, too! :)

I’ve heard of people giving up their first closet to their socks!

ooooh! I haven’t seen those. The newer ones seem a bit smaller but also seem to operate more smoothely when stacked high and are a couple of dollars less. They should make an industrial version for folks like us, but I’ve yet to find one…

How timely! I had to put my “winter” socks in storage (I’m in MD, hot and humid) and just keep out the anklets for summer. But in the fall I think I’m going to have to, I can’t believe I’m saying this, get another dresser so I can turn my three-drawer one from IKEA over to my socks. I knit them, too. I’m doomed.

and it’s all your fault, niqkita, that we have to devote precious bedroom real estate solely to socks!!!! :D

I was shopping the other day and saw that they’ve made one in RED now!!! I’m holding myself back from buying it, since I really don’t need it right now, but it’s just so….RED!!! :)
