the Seattle Trend Show was a very rewarding experience.
It was my second sock related trade show, the first was actually a lingerie show in Las Vegas a couple of years ago, which was fun but not particularly helpful sock-wise (though I did meet the lovely Music Legs rep and started ordering from them after that). One of the reps I met this time was without a doubt the most sock-knowledgable person I’ve ever met, my head was spinning with information and stories after two hours with him. I wish I’d slept better the night before and that it wasn’t an unusually hot weekend up here in the pacific northwest.
I finally got to see the Biella line and had it all explained to me. If only I could order in everything and didn’t have to be selective! and some day we are going to have to carry children’s socks, there are just too many ubercute socks for kids (next year, maybe).
Ozone has some really nice French socks coming this fall, and some of the nicest tights I’ve ever seen. We won’t be able to get most of what I saw this weekend til August (at the soonest), tomorrow I’ll show you the style that impressed me the most…
