Tabi toes on a rainy spring day in the pacific northwest

tabi toes allow for the holding of a purple petunia right between my big toe and the rest of my toes
Since we brought them in earlier this spring tabi socks have quickly become one of our biggest sellers. We personally love them and I definitely plan to bring in an even bigger variety in coming months (longer, thicker(((fleece))), ect). Right now I’m sticking with the short cotton style we have (3 more colors due this week~deep pink, light pink & dark blue).
Two things I’ve been asked about tabi socks in the past 24 hours….
the large are a little loose around my heels
do they come up to your ankle?
just barely, the larger ones more so. This pair I’m wearing today are large (women’s 8-men’s 12) and you can see how they are a bit bigger in the heels than I am (women’s 8.5-9). My purple pair are mediums (women’s 5 – men’s 9) and do fit more snugly, but these are fine too. If your feet are larger you may find that they don’t quite come up your ankles.
do they have five toes, it’s hard to tell in the pictures…
is it? I hadn’t noticed, now that I think about it & have looked again, no, I think it’s totally obvious that the big toe is the only one separate from the other four, we do have socks with five toes, they’re called toe socks ~:)
