Two toe socks…
red and white striped knee highs
a few days ago we sold the last pair of these in black & white. Foot Traffic is all out & won’t have more til fall. We have some that are close here, they aren’t full stripes, just top stripes (we’ll get the stripes next time, later in June). I needed to get some better pictures up, since I only had taken pix of the black & whites to begin with so first I tried on the rainbows…
rainbows
pretty! and as you can see they fit right into cute shoes just as if I were wearing “normal socks” but strangely they are a little less comfy than the red & whites which are really soft & just a little thicker…
close toes
why is it strange? because they are both made by Foot Traffic with the same fibers. Next time you see those rainbows I’ll have cut the tips of the toes off & painted my nails….
I’m dreaming of playing toesies in my toesocks…

Water Stripes

Soon we’ll be heading into full-fledged summer, so get a jump on cool feet now with the water stripes!!!

These nifty little anklets feature horizontal stripes with sheer parts in between. They’re nice and stretchy, and fit my size 12s just fine. They fit snugly, so that the see-through parts look right (no bagginess here), but they have lots of yummy stretch. I found them extremely comfortable and extremely nifty, and now they’re extremely versatile, in white, black, or bordeaux!

Extreme!!! :)

Pot Holes

Well, they were brought in due to my request, so I sort of have an obligation to model them!!! ;) Plus, they freakin’ rock, so I wanted to anyway. :D

The new Lycra Large Hole Tights, also known as Pothole Tights, are amazing! They’re black and look almost like crochet, and have large holes that create a very stunning effect from far away, and a more intricate look up close! Definitely different from your same-old fishnet (as if fishnet ever really got boring!), these would look great with miniskirts, heels, hot shorts, and boots!

They also feature smaller patterns at the toes to keep your toes in and not strangle or pinch like some of the larger fishnets can do, and the pattern is attractive enough that you could wear these with open-toed shoes!

As far as size range, I’d have to give these an A+! Their label says one size: 90-160 lbs, and I’ll agree, but add that these will work for anyone from about 5′3″-6′3″!!! Their unique stretchiness comes from the fact that the holes are large enough to afford more room; just like fencenets will usually stretch further than smaller fishnet patterns, these can accomodate larger legs from top to bottom!

Also, there’s no icky, ugly, thick waistband, so these won’t noticeably pinch you in, AND they’re roomier in the waist than most anyway, so you can fold them down onto your hips to hide them if you’re wearing something a little more low-rise than the tights!

Overall, these new guys get a rave review!!! (just watch out for strange patterns on your legs after long periods of sitting!!!) :)

Cotton anklets: Bobby socklings!!!!

redanklets2.jpg
These are so wonderful! They stretched really well to fit my size 12 feet, and are so soft and cute! I love the vibrant red, and the stretch factor was pretty much perfect. They’re not superthick, but they only go sheer around the toes, and may not on smaller feet. I would compare them to the Music Legs thigh high stripes for stretchability, thickness, comfort, and vibrant color!

Overall, I give them a rave review!

this is what they look like…
morning sunshine
the rose colored one is cotton, the purple is acrylic
yes, I love them!
you can see how nicely they fit my thighs, not at all snug, yet they stayed up all day through alot of walking. The cotton ones are thicker than the acrylic. I really like how they have the ribbing just at the top, I think I might stick with that because the ribbing allows them to stay up and I know that some of you don’t like the ribbing all the way down the legs because it can add bulk to the appearance of your legs.
Now to decide just how long they should be and which colors to start off with. And in case you like the current size of M Stockings, I added them in white and black today…

About last night…
with my thumbs out
I’m still wearing my new arm warmers and realized something (after I posted last night) that was so obvious I feel silly for not thinking of it sooner. If I fold the elastic parts over they are alot more comfortable, especially for sleeping, I didn’t take them off in the night this time. Another thing that was bugging me last night was the price so I double checked this morning and it’s correct, $8. I know this seems odd if you consider that the M stockings & stripes are also $8 and have alot more to them, perhaps it’s because I buy those directly from the makers so there’s no middle man mark up. These are the kinds of things that keep me awake at night sometimes…

New stuff, now & for the future
yummy new arm warmers
from the same supplier as yesterdays new leg warmers, we have these funky little arm warmers. They are a nice soft knit acrylic, made in the USA. Arm warmers really came into fashion this year, but they are an essential for people who get achey joints in their wrists (like me) so it’s nice to have choices. My only complaint about these is the elastic around the hands is a tad tight, I wore them to sleep the first night and yanked them right off sometime early in the morning. During the day they feel fine though and I’ve been wearing mine for several days now. One thing I like is how easy it is to slip my hands out to wash them without having to take the whole arm warmer off (like you have to do with the fingered kind). They also scrunch quite well…
all scrunched down
(btw, the socks I’m wearing in these pix are the 45+ inch white longsocks)
So, did those new socks show up today?
Yes they did! they didn’t look much different at first, then I put one on and WoW!!! nice & comfy, they should fit about 25/26 inch thighs, maybe even larger, I’ll need to have one of my larger friends try them to be sure, but I’m already sure I’ll be ordering these in lots of colors.
Look for the first batch to start arriving in a couple of weeks (I can’t bring them all in at once you know). They aren’t as thick as the boot socks, but they are close ~:)

new legwarmers!
These are a little something offered to me by a supplier as “Dancer’s leg warmers” when I was restocking some other leg warmers. They only come in two colors, one for each length. These are 18 inches, “denim black”, it looks alot more like a graphite or charcoal grey to me. The others are 27 inches and “denim purple” which just looks like a dark lavender. They are cotton, really comfy, they stay up at the tops of my calves perfectly and have that part at the bottom that hangs over my heels just so. I’ll also be adding in some arm warmers shortly, but now I’m off to get some sleep before starting on another big sock week…

~Soft & fuzzy~
so cute & sexy!!!
New marabous
one of the first “unique” styles I wanted to carry…
I first saw some pairs in a bondage apparel shop when I was doing some research while planning the sock-biz idea several years ago. We started with about 6 colors, now we have 13, the latest two are pink marabou on opaque white anklets & red marabou on opaque black anklets. I think they are soooo cute & sexy, great with pumps, heels, mary janes & short boots. There are thigh highs with marabou that I’ve never brought in, something about marabou between the thighs bothers me, but I am thinking about having kneee highs made, that would be uber cute I think…
