The new stripes are up!

8 new color combinations!
from this subtle combination of white & natural
to really bright red & purple…
purple & green, tangerine & blue, black & blue, light blue with purple or denim. They are all beautiful, the white is a crisp clean white and the black a true deep black.
They still have the 19 inch limit for thigh size, but I found that they stay up at knee level perfectly with the elastic in their cuffs so you can also wear them at or below the knees, I especially liked this combination worn that way…

Some of the new colors are acrylic rather than cotton…
they feel every bit as comfortable to me and are not at all itchy.
The most noticeable difference is that the acrylic have solid feet,
the cotton have striped feet.
In the works are greys & pinks to be matched up with with eachother and lots of other tasty colors. This is my sample pair…

I’m hoping to get a lighter pink too,
but this will look stunning paired with black…

why don’t you try a pair or two of thigh-high or otk stockings first? the thinner ones come in solid, conservative colors as well as fun stripes or fishnet, and could be a good summer intro with a skirt! i also agree with bsti, the more you see something you wouldn’t normally try out looking good on others, the more open to it you become yourself. :) good luck, and above all, make certain that she knows it’s HER you love in the socks, not the SOCKS you love on her. :)

Do you think she’d be more comfortable wearing them only at home, and not for going out? I personally love wearing the 36″ longsocks or the kilt socks with a boyshorts and a camisole when I’m at home or going to bed. So comfy!

Yeah, I think she would be more comfortable wearing them at home. That is where she wears the other ones that I bought her. But those socks have her favorite character on them, and the are actually more like knee socks than over knees. Maybe she will become more comfortable wearing them at home with a pair of shorts.

Hi! Those are really great, I really like them alot. I have a question for some of you sock lovers though. I like the looks of over knee socks on a girl, but I don’t know how my girlfriend would feel about them. She really likes certain cartoon characters, and I bought her some over knees with them on the socks, but the aren’t really that long so she wears them sometimes up to her knees. I have a serious like for them though, and would like for her to wear them when we are just lounging around. Any ideas on opening her up to really long socks? Her feet stay cold all the time, but it is summer here, and sometimes she just wears ankle socks, which is fine too. Sometimes! Thanks ahead of time!

Have you talked to her about how much you *enjoy* how she looks in longer socks? I’d compliment her on how nice she looks in them next time she wears them. Maybe get her a few pairs as a gift with some sort of subtle hint about how much you’d enjoy it if she wore them, perhaps socks & champagne or chocolate with a sweet card…

maybe subtly direct her to this site, where she can see for herself how cute they look.

Thanks for the help guys. I had bought her a couple pair with a cartoon character that she loves on them so it didn’t seem so obvious that I was just buying her really long socks. She is kinda conservative and I don’t really know how much she likes the idea of over knee socks. The ones I bought her were over the knee barely, but not enough to stay. I just told her that I bought them because of the character and didn’t know exactly how long they were (I didn’t lie, I didn’t know how long they’d be for sure!) I’d so like to see her wearing some of your long stripes Niqkita, but I may have to wait to colder weather here to be able to mention that one…maybe when she says something about her legs being cold.

I would suggest tying her up with a 50 inch pair one time, and she will get the hint for sure!! even conservative girls love longsocks once they knowhow to use them…
