Two dozen of these came in…
acrylic M stripes

The pink & grey M stripes I sampled earlier this month…
they will fit petite legs like mine and reach nearly all the way up my thighs, for larger legs they make good knee highs if you scrunch or roll down the tops…

Earlier today I found a work around for the link problem I’ve been having for over a week. I was able to get the bootsock page finished & add a purchase link for the new EG Smith cotton footless red tights, then it happened again, and no amount of workarounds was able to fix it so I haven’t added these in, if you want a pair (or more) click the image above or here.

My first new pair in over a year…
doubling up on the bootsocks is a great way to make loose shoes fit better.

well, my first new personal pair of bootsocks anyway…
these seem a wee bit smaller than the other bootsocks and fit my size 8.5/9 feet perfectly. They all fit me fine & I do think these will fit larger feet, but, like I said, perfect on me!
They have a tighter knit than the linens in the previous post
they are a couple of inches shorter too

I have the bootsock page all updated with the new colors, but I still can’t get it to accept new external links so I haven’t posted it yet, if you like these and want to buy a pair, they are $10
(99% cotton 1% spandex).

Now for a note about my morning…
when I sit down to do my morning site/photo editing I like to watch Ellen.
She makes me smile, laugh, and okay, I’ll admit it…
I even like to get up & dance with her.
Today in her monologue she went on a tangent about socks!
Ellen loves socks & talked about her sock drawer.
Hurray!!!
It inspired me to submit a photo to her
“what are you doing while you’re watching?”
This really is what I’m doing while I’m watching…
If I wasn't such a workaholic I'd sit & watch this with my breakfast & coffee & keep the laptop closed...

Similar but not the same as…
I just had to try them on before sharing them...

The most intrigueing of our four new bootsock colors are these “linen” boot socks.
They are sort of a beige/white mix up, In a slightly looser/lighter knit

I loved them but did not call dibs in time so I have to share them…
Now he can wear them...

He loves them too, says they fit his size 10 feet fine & are plenty comfy!

New bootsocks coming!!!

Here I am, fresh out of the shower…
my clean feet safely slipped into one of my oldest & dearest pairs of bootsocks. They are purple, though they aren’t as bright & true as many of the bootsock colors, they are still beautiful.
Later I will be trying on new bootsocks…

HOORAY for OTK stripey toesocks!!!

I got mine in yesterday and HAD to try them out right away… I wore them for a few hours and they were super comfy and breathable!!! They have slight ribbing on the arches and heel, just to keep them in place, I guess, but you can’t even tell when they’re on! It’s like the best of both worlds! ;) As you can see, they went great with a skirt and heels, and would also brighten up a more casual outfit, too!

I chose the orange and yellow combo, but they also come in two-tone pink as well as beige and khaki. If you’re not a big fan of stripes, but are of toesocks and OTK socks, they also come in black with 5-color toes that could stay hidden away in your shoes, if you prefer. I like to let my toes be free whenever possible. :)

Oh, and did I mention that these ACTUALLY go above my knee and stay there?!?!? Quite a feat for the price — these are some of the comfiest toesocks I’ve ever worn, maybe even comfier than these from foot traffic), and are $12 a pop. VERY worth it! :) Now if we can only convince them to do more colors…I’d love to see a black and grey and a cornflower blue and violet!

Cozy toes, warmer legs & the green of spring

I just got these fabulous new bloomers from Bloomer 4 U…
I love them sooo much!
These are absolutely the comfiest, best made bloomers I’ve ever worn.
If you like bloomers check out their site…
so many choices it makes my head spin with joy!
To bridge the gap between my bloomers and my toesocks (also uber comfy & well made) I put on my EG Smith no foot bootsocks, which are, of course, leg warmers, really nice thick comfy leg warmers in the prettiest pale pink (they come in white & black too).
Obviousely I have no problem with wearing socks with sandals, in fact, I enjoy it, regardless of what others may think. If I’m comfortable I’m happy and that is what matters most right? Toesocks are great with thongs too, as are Tabi socks (btw, the large white tabi socks are back in stock). And, while we’re on the subject, regular shoes still fit when you’re wearing toesocks or tabi socks, the only differences are that my toes can wiggle more freely inside & are generally happier ~:)

Ooops, I forgot we got this color in til I was digging through a new box of M stripes & found them. I decided this shade is more of a persimmon than orange and unlike the rest of the ribbed M stockings, these are cotton. I put my pair on first thing this morning and have lounged about all day in them and little else. I still hope to get them made looser in the thighs (19/20″ max), but they are roomy in the feet which I enjoy, especially around my toes ~:)
I also added some nice simple fingerless lace gloves & some new longsocks, just like the originals except they don’t have the ribbed arches and come in red & natural as well as black, white, grey, pink & royal blue, which happen to be the same colors the gloves come in, except grey, no grey gloves, and the natural is ivory…

Sexy fencenet pantyhose…

a classic style that is hotter than ever

we now offer fencenets in three styles…
anklets (which can double as gloves), thigh highs & pantyhose.
They list a size range of 5′-5′10″ 100-175 lbs, they came up quite high on my waist and have alot of stretch, no sagging at all, though they did take some adjusting to get them all aligned and evnly spaced. I wore them over plain black tights, you could also add half socks to keep your toes in, actually I think they’d look great over all kinds of other styles too, contrasting colors or textures, maybe even wear some socks or legwarmers on top of them.
I liked mine with a plaid skirt & fishnet top…

The new stripes are up!

white and natural pulled all the way up...

8 new color combinations!
from this subtle combination of white & natural
to really bright red & purple…
purple & green, tangerine & blue, black & blue, light blue with purple or denim. They are all beautiful, the white is a crisp clean white and the black a true deep black.
They still have the 19 inch limit for thigh size, but I found that they stay up at knee level perfectly with the elastic in their cuffs so you can also wear them at or below the knees, I especially liked this combination worn that way…

Some of the new colors are acrylic rather than cotton…
they feel every bit as comfortable to me and are not at all itchy.
The most noticeable difference is that the acrylic have solid feet,
the cotton have striped feet.
In the works are greys & pinks to be matched up with with eachother and lots of other tasty colors. This is my sample pair…

pink & grey should be available later this month...

I’m hoping to get a lighter pink too,
but this will look stunning paired with black…
pink and black, it's everywhere this year...

Staying busy & keeping warm
warm comfy layers

as usual I’m way behind in a whole bunch of areas…
always trying to do too much!
so here, in the midst of catching up is me wearing the pretty spaceforest tights (my current favs!) with the angora jambiers, over tights they didn’t need garters, they actualy stayed up over my knees for a very active evening of work. My legs never got cold, even outside after dark, but they never overheated during the activities either thanks to how nicely natural fibers like cotton & angora breathe. Be on the lookout for several new colors of striped M stockings & plus sized striped tights to be added in the coming days…
