hopefully I’ll have more to show for it soon…
til then check out Eliza’s lace sock review…

These are the new black Zebra striped pantyhose from Music Legs, shown below with and without flash. The knit is similar to a tiny fishnet on the very sheer parts, and a dense, doubled fishnet on the stripes…sheer enough to show a little tattoo, if you’ve got ‘em to show, but still pretty warm for stockings!

The label says ,”5′0″-5′10″,” and we agree, but we’ll take issue with the “100-175lbs.” I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone with legs larger than 20″ around the largest part of the thigh or calf, as they fit me quite snugly, and I’m under 150 lbs.
Still, a fun pair of tights and a great way to jazz up an otherwise low-key outfit!
You could pull these off with class in a formal or work setting, in my opinion, since the hose are slightly sheer and not a black-and-white zebra pattern (which i love, but which aren’t usually work material, unless you work in a really wonderful place, or at home, like Niq). :)

I love that the stripes continue onto the foot, so that wearing these with a pair of open-toed sandals isn’t a problem at all! Yay!

FINALLY!!!!
Pantyhose get on the low-rise train!!!

Unfortunately, these won’t make the low-rise of most jeans, but then again, you’re much more likely to be wearing them with a skirt, right? Definitely a low-waist as compared to the usual fare of large black bands that come up over one’s navel, these fishnets have a small band that is slightly larger than usual and can be scooted down on one’s hips to accomodate lower styles. These fishnets are definitely nice and strong, and will stretch LOOOOOOOOOOOONG for all you tall girlies (and guysies) out there! The fishnet is a nice mid-size, but it will let a couple of toes pop out if you’re not wearing something under ‘em.

I’d recommend a pair of half socks to prevent this if you hate it but would still like to keep your heels and ankles free of other fabrics. A good new item from Leg Avenue, and I hope to see bigger (literally–these will really indent your hip fat if your low-waist is larger than 32″ or so), better, and lower low-waisted items from them in the future! All in all, I’d give ‘em a B-, the B for the thick, comfy quality of the fishnet, and the minus for size and not-so-low lowness! ;)
