You may recognize this image…
it’s almost the same as the one currently on the main page and I’ve posted it here twice already which is why I’m offering a variation. The reason I wanted to post this yet again is that yesterday alone I got three emails asking about the shoes, specifically the one on the left with three straps (yes, a three theme!). One person was even nice enough to attach one of my images in case I wasn’t sure which pair they were asking about. I get asked this so often that it is included on the Frequently Asked Questions page (FAQs for short). Here’s what I know about them: I got mine second hand at a Buffalo Exchange here in Portland, the label inside reads RUSH HOUR express (if you google it be prepared for alot of traffic related results), Hot Topic used to sell them or something just like them (I learned this in a newsgroup thread I found where they were discussing this very topic). If anyone out there knows anything more about them please post it here in the comments so that all can benefit from this much needed knowledge (you don’t need to include an email address if you fear privacy infringement). The socks in this shot are, of course, our beloved 36 inch longsocks folded over concealing sock garters that help keep them perfectly in place.

that’s damn funny, ‘kita, considering i was actually going to email you with the same question today!!!! here’s what i know about these shoes or similar ones…you can find them on ebay!!!! hot topic does sell or did sell similar shoes if not the same, and i think demonia makes a similar pair as well… some company makes a pair that is often listed on ebay but wouldn’t be available in hot topic or anywhere like that ( i know this b/c they actually come in my size 12-13!!!). so there you go. happy hunting, ppl!
