I wore my original pair of longsocks most of this weekend.
They are in wonderful shape after more than a year of wearing, washing & wearing some more and are still one of my very favorite pairs.
You probably know that we have these custom made in several lengths from these at about 20 inches (including a thicker version), 36 inches, 50 inches & 100 inches, we even had them at a whopping 215 inches once (yes, they are all gone now & not likely to be back). Since the 36 & 50 inch are our most popular and the hardest to keep in stock I recently requested a variation, 40 inches from heel to cuff, with no ribbing at the arch so they will look nicer with shoes that show off the tops of the feet. They’ll still have the vertical ribbing that most of us love. Since some people have requested a non-ribbed version we’ll work on those next…
I’m still hoping to add a longer version of the sweater socks by winter as well, but to date we’ve not received the long promised samples.
In other sock news I’m working to correct a java script error that was preventing people from ordering from us using Macintosh systems. It may take me days to get all the pages fixed, but the most popular pages should work now. Many thanks to the people who took the time to write to me about this!!!
