I finally wore a pair of the grey long socks.
This pair is from the last batch of 36 inchers
(though they measured a little shorter today, maybe they shrunk)
I’m out, but have more coming…
I do have other colors of the 36 inchers & I have the 50 inch in this grey now.
I’m working on getting these in purple too.
The sock garters held them up nicely.
I want to try making my own sock garters one of these days.
I’d be interested in knowing about other people’s thoughts & experiences with sock garters. They are an old fashioned thing that kind of went out of style. I think they hae alot of potential though…

This is Livvy in her striped toe socks.
She is, among other things, a very accomplished web designer.
I had no idea just how accomplished she is until this afternoon when I started perusing her portfolio…
right now I am bowing down to you in awe Livvy!
Mondays is amazing, so beautiful & calming.
(Hmmm, perhaps FZMe could use a little makeover?)
I also thought this was appropriate…
She & her husband started their sideline business “to provide open minded clients with a website or developement that would blow their socks off.”
(my socks do happen to be off right now)
She is also a talented photographer who has cute toes…

Tweed has always sounded like something stuffy old men wear.
So when I saw it listed in a suppliers catalog last fall I wasn’t initially interested, except for one thing…
they were over the knee socks.
I LOVE otks and was having a hard time finding a good variety of them so I gave them a chance. I loved them, we all loved them, they sold well so I ordered more and more sold even quicker, soon the supplier was out with no plans to reorder til next fall.
But they have the midcalf tweed socks and plenty of them…
Today I gave up the comfort of the fuzzy toesocks & leg warmers to try these newest tweed socks. They too are comfy, in a different way though…
they are a mix of fibers that allow them to be thin yet warm,
plus the hold their shape & stay up.

I’m still enjoying the toe socks,
I’ve had the fuzzies on all day. They aren’t just soft, they’re warm too.
They are almost like a tube sock with toes and are sized at 9-11, our feet are at the low end of that scale & there is definitely more room for larger feet.
I still have the pink fuzzy leg warmers on too,
they haven’t itched or bugged me at all.
On my arms I’m wearing the basic black leg warmers.
They are an acrylic blend so there is a lot of stretch & they pretty much stay where I put them. I can scrunch them around my wrists or pull them up like mock sleeves that come sleekly out from under my tee shirt (I put a picture on the leg warmer page). I’m searching for inspiration to rebuild the main socks page, just can’t seem to find that spark. It’s my goal this weekend, to rearrange it & give the page a fresh look for spring…

“I love all of your socks and stockings and I’m hoping to buy lots of different pairs from your site, they’re so pretty! But sadly, I only have a pair of boots that don’t fit me anymore and have been looking for a cute pair of shoes to go with some awesome socks and stockings (like ones from your site, I have TONS written down that I plan to buy). Anyways, to my main point, there’s a pair of shoes that I’ve seen throughout the site that I’ve fallen in love with (http://www.fetishize-me.com/wk_close.jpg) I was wondering where they’re from, or if there’s a website with them on it? I’m really sorry to bother you, especially with a question not really about the socks.”

When I first put these on they pulled all the way up my thighs and stayed there for most of our walk. They ever so slowly crept lower, giving me plenty of opportunity to pull them back up if I wanted…
instead I let them go where they may which turned out to be just above my knees (they are labeled as an over-the-knee but when I’ve tested the white & the pink they’ve stayed at my thighs). They are opaque, cute as can be and make a perfect addition if you’re going for a gothic lolita look.
