Alpaca
Why choose alpaca? Alpaca is extremely warm and soft, not itchy. It absorbs moisture like nobody's business and prevents blisters by reducing friction. Alpaca fibers can keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Fabric made from alpaca wool resists compression, and it will maintain its resiliency as the miles stretch on (and as the washing machine turns). Unlike most wool, alpaca wool will not shrink! (These facts have been documented in tests by the Hosiery Technology Center in Hickory, NC, USA. This information was gathered from our friends at Dahlgren, because those folks really know their alpaca!)
