Rago Six Strap Garter Belt
This is one stretchy, silky, slide-on garter belt. And all six garter straps ensure that your stockings won't be going anywhere you don't want them to. Reinforced along the stomach area, w/ just a touch of decorative edging along the elastic. Made in the USA.
Fiber Content: 80% nylon, 20% spandex, exclusive of decoration.
Machine wash warm, hang to dry.
Sizing Tips: Sizes listed are waist measurements. Here's the tip from Rago to find the right fit for you: "Measure the smallest part of your waist. If your hips are more than 10 inches larger than your waist, choose the next largest size." So, if your waist is 30 inches and your hips are 42 inches, choose the size 32 option.
Additional Info: The stocking clips on this garter are the traditional button-and-loop closure and about 8 inches long, at longest adjustment, from end of garter to where it attaches to the belt.
How long are the straps on this garter belt?
Is the sizing by waist or hip?
If I have a 37" waist, should I go with the 36 or the 42? I'm loving the look of this beauty quite a bit and I'd really like one, but alas there is no 38 option (which is what I'd have thought to get).
I bought the satin lace front garter belt a while ago and find it impossible to close the hooks myself. Are these hooks bigger and or easier to close? And are they big enough to hold up socks? Thanks
Will these hold up thicker thigh high socks as well or are the clips meant more for thin stockings? I have a huge problem with my current garter belt popping or sliding out when walking or bending in it.
My waist is 42in around at the smallest part, and my hips are about 54in...will the largest size fit me..?
Any possibility of getting either of the Rago garter belts in a lighter color (white, ivory, beige, pale pink?) I want one of these for dressing up to attend Spring/Summer weddings. I'm not sure if the black would shadow thru a light colored dress.
how do i decide what size to get?
I know Sock Dreams has thoroughly spoiled me when I check out a knee-high sock webstore and am shocked at the lack of helpful sizing info...
