We ship via the United States Postal Service. Most packages ship within 24 hours except on weekends and holidays.
Our shipping envelopes are poly-mailers that feature a perforated strip for easy opening. Please do not cut the package open, or you may damage your new socks!
All U.S. orders have tracking and delivery confirmation. When placing your order online, you will be able to select a shipping option after entering your shipping information.
Please consider purchasing Sock Insurance for $1 to insure that if your package goes missing in transit or is stolen/damaged we can reship the items or refund your payment! Without insurance we cannot guarantee refunds or replacements.
All requests for reimbursement for lost or stolen parcels MUST be made within 60 days of the shipment date.
FREE Shipping: We offer free shipping for all orders placed online and shipped to U.S. addresses. Most orders will be shipped via First Class Mail. Delivery will be within 3-5 business days in most cases. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas without reliable postal service.
Signature Confirmation: Gladly added for $2. Please select this option if there is any risk of mail theft at your residence!
Priority Mail: + $7. Delivery time is typically within 2-4 business days. Please allow up to 7 business days for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, and remote areas without reliable postal service.
Priority Mail Express: + $25 with guaranteed delivery within 1-4 business days of shipment. This option includes $100 of insurance free of charge. If you are in the U.S., and you absolutely, positively require your package within a week, we highly recommend that you upgrade to Priority Mail Express!
These are estimated times that start from the day we ship the order, not the day you place it.
We ship discreetly in plain packages. The return address shows our company name as Sock Dreams. (This can be removed at customer request.) No sensitive credit card information appears on our invoices.
We ship internationally to most countries 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
Due to delivery issues, we have stopped shipping to the following countries:
Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, and Russia.
Your country may collect dues upon delivery. These taxes are not included in our shipping fees. We cannot determine what fees you may incur from your country’s Customs or Border Control department. Please contact your local post office for more information on import taxes. Know what the import tax will be before your postal service attempts delivery! We will not falsify customs forms in order to avoid fees.
Please allow up to 30 business days (approximately 6 weeks) for delivery, as there are many factors which can delay international mail, chief among them the Customs service of the destination country.

International shipping times once the package leaves the US are as follows:
Flat-Rate International: 7-16 business days (not including Customs processing). Frequency of tracking updates varies by country. Orders shipped to Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden or Switzerland will receive frequent tracking updates from the time the order leaves the US to the time of delivery. Parcels shipping to all other countries will receive more limited tracking, and may not extend beyond the US sorting facility.
USPS International Express: 5-7 business days (not including Customs processing). Tracking included. Frequency of tracking updates varies by country. Includes $100 of package insurance automatically.
Remember, estimated shipping estimates do not account for the time it takes for your package to get through Customs. It can sometimes take weeks for Customs to release a package. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time we send your tracking number to you until the tracking system updates and starts tracking your package. We cannot guarantee timely arrivals of international orders; order internationally at your own risk. We cannot control whether the national post of the destination country requires a signature for delivery. International delivery times can vary greatly. Please allow 30 business days (approximately 6 weeks) for delivery in all cases.
Our international carrier has a weight limit of 4 pounds. If your order was 4+ pounds then it was split into two orders and will have two separate tracking numbers.
Once the package gets to your country, Customs will analyze it, determine if there are duties due, and then pass it on to your national postal service.
We are legally required to include a Customs form which includes the value of the merchandise being mailed. It is against company policy to declare purchases as gifts or alter the declared value for a customer. We ship discreetly in plain packages, but we must declare our originating address for Customs clearance. The return address shows our company name as Sock Dreams. No sensitive credit card information appears on our invoices.
We ship to military mail addresses with free shipping and at no extra charge.
During checkout, simply enter APO, FPO or DPO as your city, then select one of the six “Armed Forces” options in the drop-down menu for your state. The option you choose will depend on the location of the military mail recipient and also the carrier route used for sorting the mail. Those options are:
- AE (ZIPs 09xxx) for Europe, Canada, Middle East, and Africa
- AP (ZIPs 96xxx ) for Armed Forces Pacific
- AA (ZIPs 34xxx) for Armed Forces Americas
For example, if the last line of your address was “APO, AP 96351″ you would select “Armed Forces Pacific”. Please note that Signature Confirmation is not available for military mail.
