Shipping Information
We ship via the United States Postal Service. Most packages ship within 24 hours except weekends and holidays.US Shipping
All US orders have tracking & delivery confirmation. When placing your order online you will find shipping options at the top of the page after you enter your shipping information.
Please keep in mind that these are estimated times and start from the day we ship the order, not the day you place it. We do not require a signature for most orders unless you select it for $2. However, a signature may be required on orders $100 & up and those sent to businesses & schools, where there is a higher risk of the package not reaching the recipient once delivered.
We insure all orders over $80.
Please consider selecting Signature Confirmation as mail theft is common in many areas. Packages sent without a signature requirement will be scanned by your postal carrier and left at your door unattended. We cannot be held responsible for items that the USPS has scanned as delivered if you did not select Signature Confirmation.
FREE Shipping: We offer free shipping for all orders placed online and shipped to US addresses. Most orders will be shipped via First Class Mail. Delivery will be within 3-5 business days in most cases. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and remote areas without reliable postal service.
Signature Confirmation: gladly added for $2. Please select this option if there is any risk of mail theft at your residence!
Priority Mail: + $5 ($7 for phone orders). Delivery time is typically within 2-4 business days. Please allow up to 7 business days for delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and remote areas without reliable postal service. Online orders of $50 & up qualify for a free upgrade to priority shipping.
2 Day Express: + $22 guaranteed delivery within two business days of shipment. This option includes insurance. A signature will be required upon delivery for orders over $50 sent via 2 Day Express. If you would prefer to have us waive this signature requirement, please indicate so in your order notes when placing your order. If you are in the US, and you absolutely, positively require your package within a week, we highly recommend that you upgrade to 2 Day Express!
We ship discreetly in plain packages. The return address shows our company name as Sock Dreams. (This can be removed at customer request.) No sensitive credit card information appears on our invoices.
Military Mail
We ship to military mail addresses with free shipping and at no extra charge.
During checkout, simply enter APO, FPO or DPO as your city and select one of the six “Armed Forces” options in the state pulldown menu. Which one will depend on the location of the military mail recipient and also the carrier route used for sorting the mail. They are:
AE (ZIPs 09xxx) for Europe, Canada, Middle East, and Africa
AP (ZIPs 96xxx ) for Armed Forces Pacific
AA (ZIPs 34xxx) for Armed Forces Americas
For example, if the last line of your address was “APO, AP 96351” you would select “Armed Forces Pacific”. Please note that Signature Confirmation is not available for military mail.
Military mail delivery times vary greatly and are beyond our control.
International shipping
We ship internationally to most countries 5 days a week via US Postal Services.
Due to delivery issues we have stopped shipping to the following countries:
Brazil, Indonesia, Nigeria, Philippines, Qatar, Romania & Russia.
Orders shipped outside the US & Canada must be paid via Paypal and will be shipped via US Postal Services. When ordering online our system calculates shipping based on the weight of the items you order and the location they are being sent to, plus a small handling fee. You need to enter your ship-to info then click next to see your shipping options and prices. Please include any extra address info, such as your province, in the line below country.
International orders over $80 receive insurance.
International shipping times are as follows:
First Class International. 10-22 business days (not including customs processing). No tracking service available, but may receive sporadic updates. Please be patient if you select this option!
International Priority. 5-7 business days (not including customs processing). Tracking included.
International Express. 4-6 business days (not including customs processing). Tracking included.
Remember, these are only the time-frame the US Postal Service will generally get the package to your country, NOT the amount of time it takes for your package to get through customs. It can sometimes take weeks for customs to release a package. It all depends on what country you live in. Please allow up to 48 hours from the time we send your tracking number to you until the tracking system updates and starts tracking your package. We do not guarantee timely arrivals of international orders, order internationally at your own risk. We have no control over whether the national post of the destination country requires a signature for delivery. International delivery times can vary greatly!
Customs: Once the package gets to your country, customs will analyze it, determine if there are duties due and then pass it on to your national postal service.
Your country may collect dues upon delivery. This is completely out of our hands. Please contact your local post office for more information on import taxes. Know what the import tax will be before your postal service attempts delivery!
We list estimated cost of goods enclosed on the forms we attach, please do not ask us to lie about the value. We ship discreetly in plain packages, but we must declare our originating address for customs clearance. The return address shows our company name as Sock Dreams.
