Why can’t I log in? I’ve ordered with you before!
An account cannot be automatically created for you, even if you’ve ordered from us before. You’ll need to create and verify your new account by email before it can be used to log in to our website. Once you create an account using the email address of your previous orders, you will be able to see an order history of all previous orders made with that email address.
Just be aware that an order placed outside of an existing account (either with a different email or as a guest) will not be displayed in order history just yet. However, our wwwelopers are working on implementing account-merging features for future updates, so stay tuned!
Can I order without an account?
Sure! You’re always welcome to place an order without using an account. Just click “checkout as a guest” when you’re prompted to log in while checking out. If you choose to create an account in the future, just be aware that your previous orders will be tied together by your email address, so we recommend using the same email address to register that you’ve used when placing your orders.
How do I verify my account?
To verify your new account, you’ll just need to enter the verification code sent by email from our website. As some email providers filter those automatically-generated emails as spam, you may need to check your spam folder for the email containing your verification code. If you don’t see it there, you can always request a new code by clicking “click here” or “Please email me a new verification code” when viewing the login page. Please allow up to 24 hours for that request to process through our system and for the verification code email to make it to you.
If you’re still not able to receive the verification emails, please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) directly from the email address that you’d like to verify, and we may be able to manually verify your account.
I forgot my password/answer to my security question!
You can reset your password by clicking “Forgotten your password?” at the login screen and entering your email address. This will send you a new automatically-generated password that you can use to log in. Once you’re successfully logged in, you can change your password to anything you like by clicking “my account” at the top of any page on our website, then clicking “change password & challenge question” under Account Security.
If you’ve forgotten the answer to your security question, or the answer you’re giving isn’t being accepted for whatever reason, please contact us from the email address tied to your Sock Dreams account, and we can let you know the answer that’s in our system.
Arrrggghhh, I can’t get it to work!!!
It’s okay—we can help! Just give us a call (888.717.6257) or shoot us an email (email@example.com) and let us know all the information you can: what prompts or error messages you’re seeing, what page of our website you’re on and how you accessed it, what operating system you’re running (e.g. Windows 7, Linux, etc.), and what web browser and version you’re using (e.g. Firefox 8.0.1, Internet Explorer 7, etc.). This information can be very helpful in figuring out what might be causing the issue! If you need the order placed ASAP and we can’t resolve the issue for you right away, we’d be happy to assist you in placing a phone order.
